About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Investigations, Diligence and Compliance Core team. You will support our work helping clients manage risk related to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and other regulatory mandates. This is a paid, part-time position scheduled for Winter 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the research and due diligence process to help mitigate fraud and corruption risks.
- Conduct research using public records, proprietary databases, media sources, and the internet.
- Analyze and synthesize findings from your research.
- Write objective, logical, and concise reports that provide clients with clear assessments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in International Relations, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date no earlier than Summer 2027.
- Native or equivalent English reading comprehension and strong writing skills.
- Ability to work 25-30 hours per week.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Interest in current events, international affairs, finance, or economics.
- Professional-level reading fluency in a foreign language is highly desired.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Chicago, Illinois.
- The position is hybrid, requiring at least two days per week in the office.
- You must be able to participate in in-office events at the Chicago office.
