About the role#
As a Legal, Risk and Compliance Intern, you will work with clients to solve complex business problems. You will gain exposure to core business processes within the financial services, technology, and healthcare industries. This role involves working within internal control and risk frameworks, as well as regulator and compliance methodologies. You will participate in the Liftoff onboarding experience and attend The Intern Challenge to build professional connections and confidence.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the team to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Develop key deliverables, including process flows, work programs, reports, and control summaries.
- Review transactions to provide process improvement recommendations.
- Address legal, risk, and compliance challenges.
- Develop knowledge in core business processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a degree program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Juris Doctor) in Accounting, Mathematics, Criminal Justice, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Political Science, or Statistics.
- Expected to graduate within 12 months after completing the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Experience solving problems using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements.
- Technical proficiency aligning with your assigned capability area.
