About the role#
Internal Audit and Financial Advisory interns work with our clients to solve complex business challenges. You will gain exposure to different industries while developing your technical and professional capabilities. Our program focuses on both Business Process Audit and Advisory and Technology Audit and Advisory. You will receive hands-on training, work with experienced leaders, and benefit from a network of advisors who support your growth.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Participate in the Liftoff with Protiviti onboarding experience.
- Attend The Intern Challenge to build professional connections.
- Work across various industries and engage in internal initiatives.
- Join committees and employee network groups.
- Apply AI tools to analytical and research tasks.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in progress in Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Expected graduation within 12 months of completing the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 at the start of the internship.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking skills and an interest in innovation.
- Technical proficiency relevant to your assigned area.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment Type: Full time.
- Compensation: $28 to $38 per hour.
