About the role#
As an Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Intern, you will work with clients to solve complex business problems. You will gain experience across various industries while building your technical and professional capabilities. This role provides hands-on training in a high-performance environment where you will interact with leaders across the practice. You will participate in onboarding through Liftoff with Protiviti and attend The Intern Challenge to build your skills and professional network.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with your team to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Participate in business process audit and advisory or technology audit and advisory tasks.
- Use AI tools to improve the quality of insights and outcomes for clients.
- Complete project experiences assigned by Talent Managers.
- Engage in internal initiatives and contribute to team goals.
- Work in either Business Process Audit and Advisory or Technology Audit and Advisory.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
- Current enrollment in a degree program with an expected graduation date within 12 months of the internship completion.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
- Proficiency in applying AI tools to research and analytical tasks.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools like Power BI.
- Interest in automation technologies such as Alteryx, Python, or MS Power Platform.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Location & details#
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $28 to $38 per hour.
