About the role#
Prosperity Partners is hiring tax interns for the Winter 2027 term. You will work alongside managers and associates to support our tax practice in Chicago. This is a paid, part-time position that requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Prepare business, individual, and trust income tax returns.
- Research and analyze tax issues.
- Respond to routine tax notices.
- Collaborate with team members on various accounting tasks.
- Demonstrate ethical behavior and enthusiasm in your work.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited four-year university or graduate program with a major in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Public Health.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5.
- A minimum commitment of 20 hours per week on-site starting in January 2027.
- A proven understanding of transactional accounting and entries.
- Related job or classroom experience showing an interest in tax.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
