About the role#
Proskauer Rose LLP is seeking a Pro Bono Intern to support the Pro Bono Department with daily operations and administrative projects. This role requires a commitment of 10 hours per week, with a schedule determined by your course requirements and business needs.
What you'll do#
- Track, update, and record the status of pro bono matters in the firm database.
- Assist the department in planning and hosting pro bono events and training programs.
- Develop marketing content for the firm website and blog.
- Collaborate with the Information Technology team to update and enhance training materials and intranet listings.
- Work with the Finance team to respond to pro bono audits and surveys.
- Perform research and handle special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current college sophomore, junior, or senior in excellent standing.
- Demonstrated commitment to public service.
- Excellent verbal, written, analytic, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Previous experience with charitable or nonprofit organizations is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: 11 Times Square, New York, NY.
- Modality: This is an on-site position requiring physical presence in the office Monday through Thursday.
- Compensation: $17.50 per hour.
