About the role#
We are looking for security interns to join our Cyber Defense organization. You will work with technology and processes to help protect our global environment from cyber threats. Interns will contribute to our security capabilities by responding to threats and improving our defensive infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and monitor security solutions and platforms.
- Assess security infrastructure and recommend improvements.
- Investigate and respond to security threats.
- Perform incident response efforts and drive vulnerability remediation across worldwide assets.
- Research emerging TTPs.
- Collaborate with teams to assess risks and strengthen security controls across the CI/CD pipeline.
- Partner with Penetration Testing, Cyber Hunt, and Threat Intelligence teams.
- Communicate vulnerability risks and impacts to technical and business stakeholders.
- Promote compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Availability for a 12-week internship during the summer of 2027, from mid-May through early August.
- Understanding of cybersecurity standards.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a startup-like environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to work closely with cross-functional teams.
