About the role#
We are looking for a student to join our Tax department as an intern. You will work directly with our Tax team to gain hands-on experience and learn about the end-to-end operational processes of a tax department under the guidance of the Director of Tax.
What you'll do#
- Support the month and quarter end accounting close process.
- Provide strategic planning support, including consolidating inputs and assisting with long-range modeling and sensitivity analysis.
- Assist with quarterly tax accrual preparation, state apportionment compilation, and state tax return preparation.
- Prepare Federal tax return workpapers and tax settlements.
- Perform ad hoc tasks, including interacting with and supporting requests from members of the Executive Leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Rising Senior pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Proficiency with computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to initiate tasks and follow them through to completion.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

- This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Dallas, Texas.
- The internship term is on a rolling basis.
