About the role#
This is a full-time, paid medical student internship based in Chaparral, New Mexico. The position operates on a rolling term basis and requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
You will ensure compliance with all health safety standards and organizational policies. Responsibilities include completing required testing and immunizations, such as TB, Hepatitis B, Tdap, MMR, and Varicella, before the start of the internship. You will also receive Influenza vaccines in accordance with CDC and NMDOH guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program related to Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, or Biomedical Sciences.
- A letter of good standing from your educational institution.
- Successful completion of all required health screenings and immunizations prior to starting.
- Ability to pass a Criminal Records Check if assigned to the Checkerboard Area Health System.
