About the role#
This is a non-paid student internship for the Summer 2026 term. It is an on-site position based in Estancia, New Mexico. You must be a currently enrolled student in Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration to qualify.
What you'll do#
You will assist in various healthcare tasks as assigned. You will also participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed. This role requires adherence to all healthcare personnel testing and immunization protocols established by Human Resources.
What you'll need#
You must provide a current resume and a letter of good standing from your educational institution. Before starting, you must complete testing and immunizations for TB, Hepatitis B, Tdap, MMR, and Varicella. Influenza vaccines are required based on dates set by the CDC and NMDOH. If you are assigned to the Checkerboard Area Health System, you must pass a Criminal Records Check.
