About the role#

This is an unpaid student internship opportunity for individuals currently enrolled in an applicable field of study, such as Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration. The role provides exposure to clinical environments and professional healthcare operations.

What you'll do#

Assist with healthcare tasks as assigned.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Comply with all established healthcare personnel testing and immunization protocols.

What you'll need#

Proof of current enrollment via a letter of good standing from your educational institution.
A current resume.
Completion of required immunizations prior to the start of the internship, including TB, Hepatitis B, Tdap, MMR, and Varicella.
Compliance with influenza vaccination requirements as set by the CDC and NMDOH.
Successful completion of a Criminal Records Check if assigned to the Checkerboard Area Health System.

Location: Estancia, New Mexico.
Term: Summer 2026.
