About the role#
As an Advisory Services Intern, you will work within a team of consultants to deliver performance improvements to healthcare systems. This role involves active participation in client engagements, where you will help identify issues, form hypotheses, and develop solutions. You will interact with clients, build professional relationships, and contribute to the overall success of project deliverables.
What you'll do#
- Obtain data and coordinate analyses to form conclusions and insights.
- Prepare verbal and graphic presentations for client audiences.
- Assist clients in implementing recommended changes.
- Interview clients to clarify project objectives and document business requirements.
- Generate billings revenue through assigned analytical tasks.
- Participate in practice development activities and network with colleagues.
- Learn and utilize Premier technologies and services.
- Deliver project content in a timely and high-quality manner.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, business, or finance.
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Tableau.
- Familiarity with statistical tools such as R, Python, SAS, or Matlab.
- Understanding of Business Intelligence concepts and risk management practices.
- Awareness of market trends and competitor activities.
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare performance improvement.
- Ability to research data to determine client needs.
- Familiarity with Lean Process Improvement or Six Sigma is a plus.
- Capability to lead and show value through your work.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, remote position.
- The role follows a rolling term.
- You must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods and operate computer software effectively.
- This position requires no travel.
