About the role#
This is a full-time, paid engineering internship based in Indianapolis. You will support our engineering team by assisting with ongoing projects and manufacturing operations. This role is on-site and involves a 40-hour work week, with occasional opportunities for overtime depending on project needs.
What you'll do#
- Update database information and create metric charts to track project results.
- Document operational processes and develop training materials.
- Support continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide technical support to help improve manufacturing methods.
- Create CAD models and update drawings to reflect current designs.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- You must be completing your sophomore or junior academic year.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite and general engineering coursework.
- Proficiency with CAD software, preferably Inventor.
- The ability to work in both office and shop floor environments, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and manufacturing fluids.
