About the role#
This Electrical Engineering Co-Op position at Pratt & Whitney offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in aerospace hardware design. You will work on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, during the Summer or Fall 2027 terms. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Perform circuit card design lifecycle activities, including requirements and schematic capture.
- Create and analyze electrical schematics.
- Select components necessary to implement design requirements.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of electronic circuitry.
- Assist with digital hardware factory and field failure root cause analysis.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another STEM discipline.
- You must be actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op session.
- You must have completed at least 60 hours of credit by the start of the session.
- You must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required for this clearance.
