About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is hiring an Electrical Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in McKinney, Texas. You will join a multi-disciplined team to contribute to the development of advanced electrical subsystems.
What you'll do#
- Design, test, manufacture, and support advanced electrical subsystems.
- Apply engineering tools and processes to project tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on assigned engineering projects.
- Perform meaningful, hands-on work to support project goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or graduate degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM major.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Coursework in digital circuit design, circuit analysis, VHDL/Verilog, power electronics, electromagnetics, linear controls, analog design, or control theory.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
