About the role#
The Human Resources Intern joins our team in Etobicoke to provide administrative and coordination support. You will gain hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, health and safety administration, and employee engagement. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Screen candidates and manage de-selection using the Dayforce Recruitment module.
- Coordinate interviews, recruitment follow-ups, and other hiring tasks.
- Prepare and organize new hire documentation.
- Assist the Senior Health and Safety Specialist with WSIB documentation and record maintenance.
- Support employee engagement through surveys, feedback collection, and team-building activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or postgraduate program for Human Resources or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Previous experience in Human Resources, administration, or recruitment is an asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
