About the role#
Polar Semiconductor is expanding its manufacturing capabilities and output. This internship involves working with our automated semiconductor fab. You will use large datasets to model and develop solutions for manufacturing challenges. You will collaborate with the Industrial Engineering, Operations, Process, and Maintenance Engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Identify and develop reporting solutions to improve factory operations and planning.
- Extract and analyze manufacturing and planning data from large sources.
- Create reports in Power BI and other systems for program teams.
- Build infographics to display key information clearly.
- Explore new ways to apply AI tools in the workplace.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Production Operations Management, or a related field.
- Ability to code in SQL, Python, or similar languages for data extraction.
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, or other data management and visualization software.
- A basic understanding of Manufacturing Science and Production.
