About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the audit process, issues management, and continuous monitoring within the financial services industry. As an intern, you will work under the guidance of experienced audit personnel to provide independent assurance regarding the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. You will participate in a 10-week summer program designed to provide real-world experience and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Test internal control systems and ensure compliance with established audit policies and procedures.
- Assist in performing and documenting audit procedures to appraise the adequacy of internal control systems.
- Perform transactions and functional testing of books and records.
- Participate in a capstone group project focused on key initiatives or emerging risks.
- Network with executives, industry leaders, and audit professionals to support your career development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program with junior status.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Economics, Business Administration, or IT.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant to the role.
