About the role#
The Program & Events Intern for the Korean team serves as a bridge between Silicon Valley and the Korean innovation landscape. This role supports senior leadership in managing high-stakes programs for Korean corporations and government entities while driving business development momentum in the United States. This is a full-time, on-site internship position.
What you'll do#
- Lead the planning and delivery of innovation programs in sectors such as Mobility, Smart City, Sustainability, and Physical AI.
- Draft, translate, and localize professional proposals and reports for public-sector and corporate partners.
- Coordinate deliverables and communications between the Sunnyvale headquarters and partner organizations to ensure global alignment.
- Manage senior leadership’s scheduling, follow-ups, and meeting outcomes.
- Maintain project milestones and partnership responsibilities using Salesforce and Rocketlane.
- Lead the logistical planning for visiting Korean delegations, including site visits and high-profile event schedules.
- Collaborate with internal Ventures, Events, and Marketing teams to integrate Korean startups into the local ecosystem.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, or a related field.
- Professional-level fluency in Korean and English, both written and spoken, including the ability to write in Hangul Program (HWP).
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Rocketlane, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate time zone differences with partners in Korea.
