Program & Events Intern (Korean team)

About the role#

The Program & Events Intern for the Korean team serves as a bridge between Silicon Valley and the Korean innovation landscape. You will support senior leadership in managing high-stakes programs for Korean corporations and government entities while driving business development momentum in the U.S. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sunnyvale, California.

What you'll do#

• Lead the planning and delivery of innovation programs across sectors such as Mobility, Smart City, Sustainability, and Physical AI.
• Manage the drafting, translation, and localization of professional proposals and reports for corporate and public-sector partners.
• Coordinate deliverables and communications between Sunnyvale HQ, regional Korea offices, and partner organizations.
• Support business development by managing senior leadership’s scheduling, tracking meeting outcomes, and maintaining records in Salesforce and Rocketlane.
• Lead the logistical planning for visiting Korean delegations, including site visits and high-profile event schedules.
• Collaborate with internal Ventures, Events, and Marketing teams to integrate Korean startups into the Silicon Valley ecosystem.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, or a related field.
• Professional-level fluency in Korean and English, including the ability to write professionally in Hangul Program (HWP).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Rocketlane, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate time zone differences with partners in Korea.
• Preferred: Experience in startup, Venture Capital, or Corporate Venture Capital environments, and knowledge of government-funded acceleration cycles.
