JOB DESCRIPTION: Internship Platte Valley Companies JOB SUMMARY: The intern will receive basic training on how the bank runs its daily operations. The intern will have the opportunity to work in and observe multiple bank departments REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications: - Currently enrolled as full time student, pursuing an undergraduate degree in finance, business or related field. - Demonstrated interpersonal skills. - Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone). - PC experience required. - Fundamental mathematical ability. - Professional appearance. - General areas of competency: decision making, dependability, development, environmental safety, evaluation skills, interpersonal skills, prioritizing, problem solving, selling skills, team skills and time management. - Demonstrated aptitude to handle sensitive operational transactions and customer relationships. - Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. - Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Light Work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
