About the role#
This paid internship program runs during the busy tax season from mid-February to mid-April 2027. You will join an industry group as a team member to gain hands-on experience in public accounting. The role requires on-site work in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Assist in providing tax services to clients.
- Perform tax scanning and assist with tax return preparation.
- Build professional relationships with clients and team members.
- Learn and follow firm policies and procedures.
- Apply technical tax knowledge and use firm microcomputer applications.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 75% of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Availability to work weekends when necessary.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and focus on customer needs.
- Status as a team player.
- Authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not provided).
