About the role#
This paid Winter Audit Internship offers hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside industry specialists to provide audit services to clients. The program runs from early January through mid-April.
What you'll do#
- Build relationships with clients and internal team members.
- Help clients manage routine accounting functions.
- Draft financial statements using required formatting.
- Prepare sections of compilation, review, and audit engagements.
- Apply a basic understanding of income tax principles.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 75% of a bachelor degree in accounting from an accredited university.
- Demonstrated progress toward CPA exam eligibility.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Willingness to travel locally to client sites at least 80% of the time.
- Access to a car or public transportation for travel.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
