About the role#
As a Product Marketing Graphic Design Intern, you will support marketing and product communication initiatives through design, content development, and project coordination. This role provides hands-on experience working on real business projects alongside marketing and design professionals. You will contribute to projects that help bring complex product information to market in a clear and visually compelling way.
What you'll do#
- Create, update, and maintain designs and content across multiple print and digital mediums.
- Refine existing materials and support the development of new creative concepts.
- Prepare photography, renderings, graphics, charts, and other visual assets for publication.
- Ensure materials align with brand standards and product guidelines.
- Support project timelines, review cycles, and production schedules to meet deadlines.
- Apply design principles such as layout, typography, photography, and visual hierarchy to communicate information effectively.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, Architectural Solutions, and Technical Publications teams on business initiatives.
- Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field with strong academic standing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, or involvement through campus organizations, work experience, athletics, or volunteer activities.
- Experience with RoboHead or similar project management tools is helpful.
Location & details#
- Location: Pella, Iowa (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (End of May through early August).
- Status: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
- Requirements: Post-offer background check and drug screen required. Pella is a tobacco-free work environment.
