About the role#
PEAK is hiring a Production Lab Intern for a 12-week program in Shawano, Wisconsin. You will focus on research opportunities within the production laboratories and gain hands-on experience with the bovine semen production process. This role provides exposure to both laboratory work and the daily operations of production facilities.
What you'll do#
- Perform laboratory processes to create semen products for beef and dairy operations.
- Work directly with bulls in production facilities.
- Complete an individual project based on your specific interests and skills.
- Explore career paths within PEAK and the broader URUS family.
- Shadow an employee from a URUS-sister company to learn about different areas of the business.
- Participate in company events, including intern orientations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2-year technical college or 4-year university.
- Pursuing a degree in agriculture, biology, genetics, or data science.
- A strong interest in agriculture and innovation.
- A willingness to learn and try new things.

- This position is located in Shawano, Wisconsin.
- The internship runs for 12 weeks between May and August 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
- Housing or a housing stipend is provided.
