About the role#
PCL Construction is hiring an Engineering Student for the Winnipeg district within the Canadian Buildings sector. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term. The role is on-site.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate drawings and work specific scope with trades and sub-trades.
- Conduct trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours, and rates.
- Participate in project meetings.
- Complete deficiency walks and update deficiency logs.
- Issue warranties and take or coordinate progress photos.
- Update field drawings and produce as-built drawings.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and verify site conditions.
- Set up and maintain project records.
- Update project schedules and create manual schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software.
- Create and maintain graphical scheduling using AutoCAD.
- Monitor workforce productivity.
What you'll need#
- A strong desire to work in a construction environment.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and drafting software.
- Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.
