About the role#
This is a four-month internship starting in January 2027 based in Ottawa. You will work on-site within our Canadian Buildings sector. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Create content for newsletters, social media, websites, and internal communications.
- Help coordinate client, community, and employee events.
- Conduct research on clients, markets, and industry opportunities.
- Support business development and relationship-building activities.
- Manage schedules, communications, and project deliverables across multiple initiatives.
- Work with diverse teams including operations, leadership, marketing, and community partners.
What you'll need#
- You are working towards a degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English Literature, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Business Administration.
- Strong written communication and collaboration skills.
- Competency with Microsoft Office products.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is preferred.
- Knowledge or previous experience with Canva.
- You must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance at the Reliability Status level.

- Location: Ottawa, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Salary: $20.25 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
