About the role#
We are looking for a Business Development Student to join our Solar district team in Oakville, Ontario. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site and contribute to our strategic development goals through research and data analysis.
What you'll do#
- Support business development and new market strategies through research and data mining.
- Use data analytic tools like Salesforce to interpret and present data.
- Evaluate public procurement platforms to identify new construction opportunities.
- Create custom reports and presentations.
- Perform data cleansing, filling, and benchmarking to improve data quality.
- Maintain the confidentiality of client and corporate information.
- Participate in or lead ad hoc initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to spot trends.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in computer skills, word processing, desktop publishing, and research.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Interest in data analytics and emerging digitization trends.
- Self-starter with an efficient and flexible approach to work.

- Compensation: $19.57 to $28.88 per hour, based on experience.
