About the role#
Palantir is offering a year-long internship for software engineers who want to work on real-world problems. You will join small, agile teams and be held to the same performance standards as full-time engineers. This role involves building software platforms and delivering outcomes that help organizations make data-driven decisions. You will have the opportunity to work on either the Forward Deployed Software Engineering team, which embeds with customers to solve specific challenges, or the core Software Engineering team, which builds and scales Palantir products.
What you'll do#
- Build software and deliver customer outcomes.
- Architect and build solutions that leverage business-critical data and AI-powered tools.
- Contribute high-quality code directly to Palantir products.
- Own the end-to-end execution of projects within small, agile teams.
- Apply technical expertise to solve complex problems in fields such as supply chain management, resource allocation, and data analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of or a completed degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience applying AI through coursework, personal projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.
