About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern in our Production Infrastructure organization, you will contribute code to platforms that support mission-critical workloads. You will work on projects ranging from environment platforms based on Kubernetes to fleet-wide deployment and observability tools. You will be paired with a mentor to guide your growth throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Own every phase of the product lifecycle, from generating ideas and designing prototypes to executing features and shipping releases.
- Work hand-in-hand with technical and non-technical colleagues to uncover real customer problems and deliver solutions.
- Sit side-saddle at military exercises or partner directly with vendors to put software into the hands of users.
- Trust your team to handle time and priorities while working independently.
What you'll need#
- An engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with engineers, users, and non-technical team members.
- You must be planning on graduating in 2028.
