Software Engineer, Internship - Production Infrastructure

About the role#

Software Engineers in the Production Infrastructure organization build the platforms that support mission-critical workloads across public and private sectors. You will work on systems including Kubernetes-based environment platforms, fleet-wide deployment and change-management tools, and observability suites. You will be paired with a mentor and contribute directly to production systems used by advanced civil and defense agencies.

What you'll do#

• Own every phase of the product lifecycle, from initial design and prototyping to shipping releases.
• Contribute high-quality code directly to production systems.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues, including Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Product Reliability Engineers.
• Uncover real customer problems and deliver technical solutions to address them.

What you'll need#

• An engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
• Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Must be planning to graduate in 2028.
• Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
