About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern within the Foundations organization, you will build the shared infrastructure that supports Palantir’s core platforms. You will work in small, focused teams to improve the velocity, scalability, and reliability of the systems that underpin our software. This role offers the opportunity to engage with the full product lifecycle, from initial idea generation and design to final execution and rollout.
What you'll do#
- Build features to improve the developer experience for Palantir engineers.
- Improve the scalability and reliability of Palantir’s platforms.
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical counterparts to address developer and customer challenges.
- Work closely with a dedicated mentor to support your personal growth and professional success.
What you'll need#
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Ability to write clean, effective code and learn new languages quickly.
- Must be planning on graduating in 2028.
