About the role#
As an intern within the Foundations organization, you will build the shared infrastructure that supports Palantir Foundry, Gotham, and Apollo. You will work within small teams focused on backend, developer, frontend, or storage infrastructure to drive improvements in engineering velocity and platform quality. You will be paired with a mentor to guide your growth throughout the product lifecycle, from initial design to final rollout.
What you'll do#
- Build features to improve the developer experience for other engineers.
- Improve the scalability and reliability of core platforms.
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, including idea generation, design, and execution.
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical counterparts to solve complex infrastructure challenges.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, with a planned graduation date in 2028.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with technical concepts including data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse team members.
- Active US Security clearance, or the eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
