About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern within the Foundations organization, you will build shared infrastructure that supports Palantir platforms. You will join a small team of engineers focused on backend, developer, frontend, or storage infrastructure. You will work alongside a mentor to grow your technical skills while contributing to the systems that allow our software to operate at scale.
What you'll do#
- Build features that improve the developer experience for other Palantir engineers.
- Improve the scalability and reliability of Palantir platforms.
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, from initial design to execution and rollout.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical counterparts to identify and solve problems for developers and customers.
What you'll need#
- An engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with technical concepts including data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Must be planning to graduate in 2028.
- Active US Security clearance, or the eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
