About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute code directly to products like Palantir Gotham, Foundry, and Apollo. You will work within small, collaborative teams to build software at scale that is deployed to institutions across public and private sectors. You will be paired with a mentor to support your growth throughout the product lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical counterparts to understand and solve customer problems.
- Own projects from initial idea generation, design, and prototyping through to execution and shipping.
- Work alongside Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Product Reliability Engineers.
- Communicate across teams to share context, skills, and experience while learning about different aspects of the product.
What you'll need#
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and ask questions when needed.
- Must be planning on graduating in 2028.
- Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
