About the role#
Software Engineer Interns contribute high-quality code directly to core products like Palantir Gotham, Foundry, and Apollo. You will work within small, focused teams to build software at scale, transforming how organizations across public and private sectors use data. Throughout the internship, you will be paired with a mentor dedicated to your professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, including idea generation, design, prototyping, execution, and shipping.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical counterparts, including Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Product Reliability Engineers, to understand and solve customer problems.
- Take ownership of projects from beginning to end, navigating obstacles independently.
- Learn about various aspects of product development through cross-team communication and collaboration.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Data Science, with a planned graduation date in 2028.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with technical tools including data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- An active US Security clearance, or the eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
