About the role#
Software Engineer Interns contribute high-quality code to core products like Palantir Gotham, Foundry, and Apollo. You will work within small teams, focusing on specific product aspects while collaborating with a mentor dedicated to your professional growth. This role involves end-to-end product development, from initial design and prototyping to final execution and shipping.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, including idea generation, design, prototyping, and execution.
- Build products that address specific user needs by writing clean, effective code.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical counterparts, including product managers, designers, and end-users, to understand and solve complex problems.
- Communicate across teams to share context, skills, and experience.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics, with an expected graduation date in 2028.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with technical tools including data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse team members.
- Active US Security clearance, or the eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
