About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute high-quality code directly to products like Palantir Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo. You will work within small teams, each focusing on specific aspects of a product, and participate in the full product lifecycle. You will be paired with a mentor to support your growth and success throughout the internship.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, including idea generation, design, prototyping, execution, and shipping.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical counterparts to understand user needs and solve complex problems.
- Build products that address specific user requirements using clean, effective code.
- Communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including engineers, research scientists, and analysts.
- Engage in team-based work to share context, skills, and product knowledge.
What you'll need#
- An engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with technical tools including data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Must be planning on graduating in 2028.
- Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
