About the role#
As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer intern, you will work directly with customers to solve high-stakes problems. You will join a team focused on the USG sector, building software and delivering results. You will have the autonomy of a startup while having access to the resources of an established company. You will be treated as a full member of the engineering team with ownership over your projects.
What you'll do#
- Build software and deliver outcomes for customers.
- Help customers deploy AI-powered solutions.
- Rapidly understand complex customer issues and build solutions using business-critical data.
- Contribute high-quality code directly to Palantir products such as Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience applying AI through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- An active U.S. security clearance, or the eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
