About the role#
Forward Deployed Software Engineers work directly with customers to understand their problems and build solutions using data. You will operate in small teams with minimal supervision to own the execution of high stakes projects. You will be treated like a full-time engineer with significant freedom and responsibility for real-world outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with customers to identify and solve their greatest challenges.
- Design and implement technical solutions using customer data.
- Discuss system architecture with fellow engineers.
- Wrangle massive-scale data and code custom web applications.
- Engage with customer executives and establish strategy for your team.
What you'll need#
- An engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- You must be planning to graduate in 2028 and this must be your final internship before graduation.
- A willingness to undergo a US government background investigation.
