Deployment Strategist Intern

About the role#

As a Deployment Strategist Intern, you will work within a team of engineers, designers, and strategists to deploy software for complex, high-stakes problems. You will immerse yourself in customer workflows, analyze large datasets, and translate user needs into technical solutions. This role requires the ability to operate in ambiguous environments, synthesize disconnected information, and pivot quickly to achieve meaningful impact.

What you'll do#

• Meet with customer analysts onsite to identify critical questions and operational struggles.
• Work with Forward Deployed Engineers to secure access to datasets and integrate them into stable, extensible pipelines.
• Lead training sessions to ensure product adoption and measure its impact on partner operations.
• Present findings and future project proposals to diverse audiences, ranging from analysts to C-suite executives.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering and Product Design teams to integrate field insights into broader product offerings.
• Build and deliver product demonstrations for new and existing customers.
• Scope potential engagements across new industries and locations.

What you'll need#

• Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to solve open-ended problems in unstructured environments.
• A balance of adaptability and introspection, with a willingness to learn, teach, lead, and follow.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Experience with programming, scripting, or statistical packages (e.g., Python, R, Matlab, SQL) is a plus.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Engineering.
