About the role#
As a Deployment Strategist Intern, you will work within a team of engineers and designers to deploy software solutions for complex, real-world problems. You will immerse yourself in customer workflows, analyze large datasets, and bridge the gap between technical product capabilities and user needs. This role involves operating in ambiguous environments to turn customer goals into actionable data strategies.
What you'll do#
- Meet with customer analysts to identify critical questions and operational challenges.
- Coordinate with Forward Deployed Engineers to secure dataset access and integrate data into stable, extensible pipelines.
- Lead training sessions to ensure product adoption and measure the impact on partner operations.
- Present findings and future project proposals to audiences ranging from analysts to C-suite executives.
- Collaborate with Software Engineering and Product Design teams to translate field observations into product improvements.
- Build and deliver product demonstrations for new and existing customers.
- Scope potential engagements across new industries and locations.
What you'll need#
- Active US Security clearance or the eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to navigate open-ended problems in unstructured environments.
- Strong capacity for adaptation, introspection, and a willingness to both lead and follow.
- Ability to travel as required by the team and project needs.
- Experience with programming, scripting, or statistical packages such as Python, R, Matlab, or SQL is preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Engineering.
