About the role#
P2S offers a Summer 2026 internship for students interested in software development within the construction industry. This program provides hands-on experience through office and field work. You will work directly with our engineering team on client projects while receiving mentorship from professionals in the field.
What you'll do#
- Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
- Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project development.
- Contribute to the design process by working directly with the team.
- Assist in conducting tests to ensure the functionality and reliability of engineering solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university majoring in Software Development, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Training in CAD/BIM standards.
- A detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-energy environment.

- Location: Long Beach, California.
- Term: Summer 2026, lasting 10 to 12 weeks.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
