About the role#
This Data Engineering Co-op position is open to Drexel University students. You will join the data science team to support the development of analytical applications across the organization. This 26-week role involves hands-on work in data management, engineering, and analysis to help address business and technical needs.
What you'll do#
- Support the creation of analytical applications while working under the guidance of the data science team.
- Contribute to data management, engineering, and analysis across various projects.
- Plan and develop analytics projects based on defined business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and the data science team to identify internal and external data needs.
- Present your analytical findings to team members and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year university pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience solving problems using SQL and either Python or R.
- Familiarity with statistical modeling and machine learning concepts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
