About the role#
As an Embedded Engineer intern, you will develop and implement software for embedded devices and systems. You will work on the first layer of code that runs on a device, requiring a solid understanding of the underlying hardware. This role involves monitoring system efficiency and stability while supporting quality assurance and optimizing I/O performance.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program or higher in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Commitment to continue enrollment in your degree program after the internship ends.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Familiarity with embedded systems development using C, C++, or ADA.
- Knowledge of software configuration management.
- Experience with tools such as Matlab, Simulink, LabView, or Python.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in North Carolina.
- Relocation benefits and short-term housing are provided if your assigned work location is 50 miles or more from your current residence.
