About the role#
The Building Automation (BA) team is a major business group at Honeywell focused on connected smart building solutions. As an MBA intern, you will operate within the Chief Strategy Officer’s organization to support high-impact initiatives. You will be assigned a mentor on your first day to help you navigate the business and develop your skills in strategy and execution. This role is part of the Business Leadership Program designed to accelerate the careers of high-performing talent.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Analyze new product business cases and customer needs.
- Support inorganic business development through adjacent market analysis.
- Develop strategies for growth initiatives and other executive-sponsored efforts.
- Provide strategic analysis and insights to the BA CEO.
- Evaluate market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
- Identify M&A opportunities and top-line growth vectors.
- Explore emerging trends including sustainability, IoT, AI, and cloud computing.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in a top-tier MBA program (Class of 2028).
- 4+ years of pre-MBA experience in strategy, marketing, investment banking, operations, technology, product management, or consulting.
- Proven track record of strategy development and execution with at least one significant promotion.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and synthesis capabilities.
- Ability to influence and align stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with innovative technologies and software-enabled services.
- Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Background in a technology or software-driven organization.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across diverse cultures.
