About the role#
The Buying & Merchandising Intern provides administrative, operational, and merchandising support to the Buying & Merchandising team. This role is suited for a detail-oriented individual with an interest in retail, fashion, e-commerce, and product assortment strategy.
What you'll do#
- Upload new product collections to Shopify and marketplace platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Assist with product setup, including data entry, image uploads, image resizing, and maintaining brand presentation standards across all digital channels.
- Manage product tags and attributes to support site navigation, search optimization, and merchandising initiatives.
- Maintain accurate assortment information, including pricing updates, SKU changes, inventory status updates, and archiving discontinued products.
- Research emerging brands, trends, and market opportunities, and present findings and recommendations to the team.
- Assist with reporting, assortment analysis, and ad hoc projects to support department goals.
What you'll need#

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Analytical mindset with an interest in retail, merchandising, and e-commerce.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, specifically with formulas and VLOOKUPs.
- Experience with Shopify, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop is preferred.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated approach to learning.
