About the role#
The Modeling and Simulation Engineering Intern will support engineering activities related to multibody dynamics, vehicle dynamics, durability, and multi-physics simulation. You will work with experienced engineers to build, run, post-process, and evaluate simulation models used for product development. This position provides hands-on experience with engineering simulation workflows, test and simulation data analysis, model correlation, and technical problem solving.
What you'll do#
- Assist with multibody dynamics modeling, vehicle performance analysis, and co-simulation activities.
- Build, modify, run, and post-process simulation models of vehicles and mechanical systems.
- Support comparison and correlation of simulation results with physical test data.
- Assist with development of scripts and tools for simulation setup, data processing, visualization, and reporting.
- Work with engineering teams such as design, test, controls, and manufacturing.
- Document model assumptions, analysis methods, results, and conclusions.
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and team meetings.

- Completion of foundational coursework in dynamics, mechanics, controls, numerical methods, or related subjects.
