About the role#
As a Marketing & Communications Intern, you will work under the direction of our marketing staff to execute day-to-day communications and marketing activities. This position offers hands-on experience with high-visibility projects, including material distribution, social media content, event coordination, and digital content management. You will contribute directly to projects that reach our customers, media, employees, and external stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Write, edit, and distribute press releases, blog articles, and internal newsletter content.
- Develop social media content and support digital marketing campaigns.
- Assist with the execution of trade shows, events, and customer engagements.
- Manage website content updates using WordPress while maintaining brand consistency.
- Monitor media coverage, build media lists, and distribute materials to targeted outlets.
- Support internal communications initiatives, such as employee announcements and intranet content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on branding and product launches.
- Coordinate project timelines, track deliverables, and maintain communications archives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with portfolio samples available.
- Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with WordPress or other web content management systems.
- Demonstrated interest in defense, manufacturing, or B2B marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Relocation: You must be willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh for the Summer 2027 term.
