We are a global company, and our products—including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles and accessories—can be found all over the world.Assist Electrical Engineers with multiple tasks and projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of Engineering.YOUR IMPACT Support Electrical Engineers in the design and integration of vehicle control/wire harness development.Under close supervision, perform engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned according to Oshkosh as well as general industry engineering standards and processes.Under close supervision, works on projects of limited complexity in a support role.Select parts or components for quality conscious design, i.e. weight, cost, reliability, and ease of manufacturing.Support Senior Engineers with processing engineering information through change notices, change proposals, and the creation of thorough print documentation.Use 3D modeling software (Windchill) integrated with analytical circuit software to develop wire harnesses.Consult with other engineering or business support disciplines internal as well as suppliers, or customers externally to find solutions to problems.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related engineering degree.Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONSGood oral and written communication skills.Strong troubleshooting abilities.Wire Harness design experience.Willingness to be hands on within various project phases, as neededWORKING CONDITIONSThe following represents general working conditions for this role.
