About the role#
This accounting internship provides exposure to operational finance and general accounting. You will rotate through various departments, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor management. You will also learn to use our financial enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to support daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation of journal entries.
- Develop a working knowledge of invoice processing.
- Participate in the twice weekly payment run.
- Assist in the preparation of customer invoices.
- Participate in fixed asset audits.
- Complete ad hoc accounting projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
- Ability to work year round.
- Previous exposure to accounting through coursework or work experience.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
