About the role#
OUC is hiring a Supply Chain Intern for the Winter 2027 term. You will join the Materials Demand team to support inventory and supplier management processes. This role is based in Orlando, Florida, and follows a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Communicate with external suppliers to gather updated supply data.
- Maintain supplier catalogs in the ERP system, including pricing and units of measure.
- Help manage the electronic scrap revenue database.
- Review and update established metrics and key performance indicators.
- Transition new inventory items into the ERP system following major purchases.
- Assist the Inventory Control Analyst with updating item records.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
- A major in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A strong academic foundation in logistics, data analytics, inventory management, or buying.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Orlando, Florida.
- Schedule: Part-time, up to 25 hours per week.
- Term: January 11, 2027, to May 7, 2027.
- Pay: $15.50 per hour, depending on education level.
