About the role#
OUC is seeking a Grants Administration Intern to join the Financial and Support Services division for the Winter 2027 term. This internship provides hands-on experience by working alongside the Grants team on process analysis, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
What you'll do#
- Research and evaluate current processes and strategies to ensure they meet compliance standards.
- Help update and test procedures for the OUC FEMA manual.
- Convert F-ROC forms into Power-BI resources to automate internal processes.
- Work with external organizations to understand new regulations and support their implementation at OUC.
- Assist with the FEMA claim process by collecting and submitting documentation and interacting with the FEMA PDMG.
- Support specific project needs for your assigned business unit.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior.
- A major in Emergency Management, Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Proficiency in PowerBI and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and resolve issues under deadlines.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
