About the role#
Optimum is looking for an intern to join our Mobile Device Product Management team. You will support the growth of our mobile device portfolio and accessories. This role focuses on product lifecycle management, from initial planning to go-to-market strategies and launch execution. You will work on projects that impact our mobile business and help drive future growth.
What you'll do#
- Support product P/L objectives and initiatives that boost revenue and accessory sales.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support the mobile device growth vision.
- Advocate for the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
- Create 4P and go-to-market briefings to communicate product value.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
- Execute mobile device launches, including inventory monitoring, store stocking strategy, and sales performance reporting.
- Simplify complex concepts for various audiences.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work across different functional teams.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of product fundamentals.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- An ownership mentality and a desire to learn across many functional areas.
- Preferred: Engineering background or technical expertise, and knowledge of wireless access technologies, Wi-Fi, or IoT.
