About the role#
This co-op position supports the Infrastructure & Capital Improvement team with financial analysis, capital planning, and operational performance. You will gain exposure to the behind-the-scenes operations of a multi-site organization and contribute to projects that impact over 40 communities across Alberta and British Columbia.
What you'll do#
- Analyze asset and financial performance data.
- Build dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI.
- Support capital planning and investment decisions.
- Conduct market and financial research.
- Assist with cross-functional asset projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary program in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Comfort working with details, data, and structured tasks.
- Clear communication skills and a willingness to ask questions.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Initiative to follow through on assigned work.
