About the role#
This is an 11-week paid summer internship for Summer 2027. You will work 40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role provides hands-on experience through projects within our Individual, Employee Benefits, or Retirement Services business lines.
What you'll do#
- Complete tasks related to pricing, product development, and valuation.
- Assist with financial reporting, financial projections, and experience analysis.
- Conduct asset and liability management and industry-related research.
- Identify potential improvements in methods and provide recommendations.
- Build technical competence and interpersonal skills while developing professional relationships.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year of college coursework toward a four-year degree.
- A GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Preferred studies include Actuarial Science or Mathematics.
- Strong math, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience with Access is a plus.
- Successful completion of one or more SOA exams is preferred.
